Who Can See the Blue the Same Again? (The Tsunami Song):
Who Can See the Blue the Same Again? (The Tsunami Song), was written to honor those who suffered as a result of the Tsunamis that swept across the Indian Ocean on December 26, 2004 killing over 170,00 people. Inspired by a New York Times story that appeared on January 5th, 2005 (Fearing a Sea That Once Sustained, Then Killed), Ann was particularly moved when the article described one fisherman's feelings for what he regarded as an apparent covenant broken between his people and the sea.
"As I contemplated his story," Ann remembers, "my heart flooded and the melody came with the words 'Who can see the blue the same again?' -words whose cadence felt like waves of the ocean. The response to that question came moments after: 'To send a wave of love from every shore'.
All proceeds from the sale of the CD single are being donated to the Prasad Project's Tsunami Relief Fund.
